Give your favourite charity a helping hand

That's Life! wants you to open up about a cause close to your heart by nominating your favourite charity to receive a $5,000 donation and volunteering support from the That's Life! team.

After our 'Give with all your heart' Christmas campaign made such a difference to the Salvation Army - with over 25 boxes of gifts and food collected from our agencies and That's Life!'s $2,000 donation and day of volunteering - we wanted to keep on helping!

But this time you get to choose who we help. With so many worthwhile causes out there, we simply couldn't pick another one ourselves. But we know you have a charity that is particularly close to your heart that you could nominate.

It might be a charity you help out through volunteering, donations or fundraising, or just simply a cause that you feel impassioned about.

Tell us about the charity, how you are involved, how That's Life! could help and anything else that will help your case. We will select the best entry to help out with a $5,000 kick-start donation and volunteers to boot.

We might even get you, your team or your whole agency involved too with a fundraising event, a day of volunteering or to help out in some other way - let us know if you would like to be involved, and we'll keep that in mind! The more you tell us and the more involved you are or would like to be with your charity, the better chance you have of winning!

1.Enter by telling us about the charity you wish to nominate and why they should be selected. Email your answer to heart2heart@pacificmags.com.au and include any supporting materials that may help your entry.
2.Herein, a "Charity" for the purposes of this promotion is defined as: An institution that is established and run to advance or promote a charitable purpose. The Promoter's decision in relation to whether an institution fulfils the definition of a Charity is final and binding on each person who enters. No correspondence will be entered into.
3.Entry is only open to employees of advertising agencies and companies that advertise in That's Life!. The Promoter is Pacific Magazines 35-51 Mitchell St McMahons Point 2060. ABN 160 97410 896.
4.The competition commences on 15/06/2009 and closes on 17/07/2009. The winner will be the best entry selected by the judging panel, having regard to skill, creativity and originality, at the Promoter's premises on 20/07/2009.
5.The judges' decision in relation to any aspect of the competition is final and binding on each person who enters.  No correspondence will be entered into. No responsibility is accepted for late, lost or misdirected entries. The prize redemption will be coordinated in cooperation with the winning entrant who may participate at their own discretion.
6.In participating in the prize redemption, the winning entrant agrees to participate and co-operate as required in all activities relating to the Competition, including but not limited to being interviewed and photographed. The winner (and their colleagues) agrees to grant the promoter a perpetual and non-exclusive licence to use such footage and photographs in all trade media nationwide and the winner (and their colleagues) will not be entitled to any fee for such use.
7.The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever suffered, including but not limited to direct or consequential loss, or personal injury suffered or in connection with the redemption of and/or use of any other prizes.
